Julia O'Kelly

Julia O'Kelly currently serves as the Assistant Principal at IDEA Public Schools since August 2023. With over a decade of experience in training and development consulting for local and regional nonprofit organizations, Julia has also held the position of Instructional Technology Specialist for the Irving Independent School District since August 2012. Responsibilities in this role include developing data-driven instructional coaching, creating digital literacy content, and acting as a liaison to the community. Julia has contributed to curriculum writing and assessment, served as a Reading Interventionist and Instructional Coach for Literacy at KIPP Texas Public Schools from August 2021 to August 2024, and previously taught English at both Lady Bird Johnson Middle School and Crockett Middle School. Julia holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Government from The University of Texas at Dallas.
