Marcy Buti

Marcy Buti is an experienced educator and specialist in literacy and dyslexia services, currently serving as the Owner of The Brain Adventurer since August 2020, where services are provided to children in PK-12th grade both in-person and via Zoom. In addition to this role, Marcy has been a Dyslexia Interventionist at Irving Independent School District since August 2018, focusing on delivering qualified dyslexia therapy, implementing multi-sensory teaching approaches, and collaborating with parents and educators. Previous experience includes roles as a Dual Language Kindergarten Teacher, Speech Therapist, and Speech Pathologist Assistant, with responsibilities ranging from lesson planning to speech therapy and case management for students with various disabilities. Marcy holds a Master of Education in Literacy Specialist from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from the University of North Texas.
