Todd Allen, M.Ed., has extensive experience in education, currently serving as an Assistant Principal at Irving Independent School District since February 2012. In this role, Todd focuses on advanced academics and coordinates the National Math and Science Initiative (NMSI). Previously, Todd held positions as an AP Government teacher, department chair, and curriculum writer, emphasizing the study and understanding of American government and politics. Prior to joining Irving ISD, Todd worked as an Offensive Coordinator and Academic Coordinator at Lewisville ISD from August 2007 to January 2012. Todd holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from Trinity University, as well as two master's degrees in Educational Administration and Policy, and Education Policy Analysis from The University of Texas at Arlington.
