Tracy Gonzales

Director Of Early Childhood Development at Irving ISD

Tracy Gonzales has extensive work experience in the education field. Tracy started their career in 1995 with the Dallas Independent School District, where they held various roles such as Principal Fellow, Classroom Teacher, and Instructional Coach. Tracy provided educational services to the organization that they had attended as a student, starting as a clerk and eventually becoming an ESL elementary teacher. In 2017, they transitioned to the Irving Independent School District, where they worked as an Assistant Principal, supporting student academic achievement through collaborative planning and professional development. Tracy recently assumed the role of Principal in February 2022.

Tracy Gonzales completed their education history with a Master's degree and Superintendent Certification from the University of Texas at Tyler between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they earned a High School Diploma from Sunset High School in Dallas ISD in 1989. Tracy also obtained additional certifications, including Superintendent from the University of Texas at Tyler in December 2017, and Principal/ESL/EC-4th Classroom Teacher from the State of Texas in July 2015.
