Karen Mitchell

Karen Mitchell is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in financial crime advisory and compliance management. Currently serving as a Consultant at Irwin Mitchell since August 2022, Karen previously held the position of Partner and Director of Compliance at Charles Russell Speechlys from November 2008 to April 2022, where responsibilities included acting as MLRO and MLCO while overseeing the compliance department and advising clients on AML and financial sanctions matters. Karen's educational background includes a Diploma in Compliance from the International Compliance Association and dual degrees in Law (LL.B.) and Arts (B.A.) from the University of Auckland.
