Pete Maguire

Pete Maguire is an accomplished lawyer with extensive experience in commercial and outsourcing law, particularly within the IT, technology, telecoms, and advanced manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as a Partner in the Commercial division at Irwin Mitchell since May 2024, Pete previously held a Partner position and Sector Head role at Wright Hassall LLP, focusing on Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering from February 2012 to March 2024. Prior legal roles include Senior Legal Counsel and Director of Property and Insurance at Compass Group UK & Ireland, where Pete managed commercial contracts and insurance matters across multiple business divisions. Legal expertise was further developed through positions at Edge Ellison Solicitors and Bass Brewers Limited, coupled with foundational training as a Trainee Solicitor.
