James Brink

James Brink is an experienced Product Design Engineer at Irwin Seating Company, specializing in the design of public seating solutions for various venues, including movie theatres and auditoriums, since May 2004. Responsibilities encompass project management and the development of new products from concept through tooling, along with providing support during the initial shipment year. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University, where custom CAD software and algorithms were developed for rapid tooling, and as an AutoCAD Technician at Williams & Works, focusing on topographic mapping. James Brink holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Calvin University.
