IRYCIS

IRYCIS was established in December 2009 via an agreement signed between the Ramón y Cajal University Hospital, the Universities of Alcalá, Complutense and Autónoma of Madrid, the Ministry of Health of the Community of Madrid and the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Ramón y Cajal University Hospital. IRYCIS received its accreditation from the Ministry of Science and Innovation in 2011, which was renewed in January 2017 by the Secretary of State for Research, Development and Innovation. In our name, at the heart of our acronym and in our logo, we are very proud to be following the path opened by Don Santiago Ramón y Cajal. We have created a common space where we can share ideas, projects and also researchers and teams, to ensure the convergence of scientific progress towards the challenges of our society.
