Yuan Yuan Sun

Yuan Yuan Sun is an AI safety researcher currently at AI Safety Camp since January 2024. Previously, Yuan worked as a trading analyst at IS Prime from October 2022 to February 2023, focusing on liquidity management and post-trade analysis in the foreign exchange markets. Prior experience includes a role as a data scientist at Schlumberger, where Yuan applied physics-informed machine learning techniques. In March 2021, Yuan achieved a top 10 finish in an algorithmic trading competition at Algothon, developing a portfolio with ESG constraints. Additional roles include serving as a collaborator officer and event coordinator for Oxford Females in Engineering, Science and Technology (OxFEST), a summer internship in data and marketing at Reset Your Gut, and a spring internship at the London Stock Exchange Group. Yuan was also a team leader at The Student Consultancy and secretary at Somerville College JCR. Yuan holds an Integrated Master of Physics degree from the University of Oxford and has completed A-levels at Cambridge Tutors College.
