Neil P.G. Hirsch

Neil Hirsch currently serves as the Senior Rabbi Successor at Isaac M. Wise Temple since July 2024. Previously, Neil held the position of Rabbi at Hevreh of Southern Berkshire from July 2015 to July 2024, overseeing a diverse congregational environment in collaboration with a dedicated staff and lay leadership. Neil's experience also includes serving as Associate Rabbi at Temple Shalom of Newton from June 2010 to June 2015 and completing a Rabbinic Internship at Temple Sinai of Roslyn Heights and Temple Rodef Shalom. Neil is pursuing a Doctorate in Hebrew Literature, focusing on Halakhah and Jewish Thought at the Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion, building on a Master’s in Hebrew Literature and Rabbinical Studies obtained there, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Art History and Classics from Tufts University.
