Iago Dalmaso Brasil Dias

Iago Dalmaso Brasil Dias is an experienced professional with a diverse work history. Iago currently holds the position of Senior Data Engineer at Isaac, where they started in December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Wildlife Studios from October 2021 to November 2022, initially as a Data Engineer and later as a Senior Data Engineer.

Before joining Wildlife Studios, Iago worked at Bionexo from August 2020 to October 2021, where they served as a Data Engineer, Senior Data Engineer, and Data Analyst. Their responsibilities at Bionexo included the architectural design and implementation of new ETLs and Data Science procedures using technologies such as Spark, EMR, Airflow, Lambda Functions, and DynamoDB. Iago also played a crucial role in training and onboarding new members of the Data Engineering team.

Prior to their work in the data engineering field, Iago served as an Aerospace Engineer at the Instituto de Aeronáutica e Espaço from February 2016 to October 2019. During their time there, they focused on research and development of a liquid rocket engine with 75kN of thrust, which was the first of its kind in Brazil.

Iago also gained valuable industry experience during their internship at the Institut de Chimie des Milieux et Matériaux de Poitiers in 2015. Iago started their professional journey at ITA Rocket Design, where they held the position of Team Lead from July 2012 to July 2014.

Throughout their career, Iago has demonstrated their expertise in data engineering, architectural design, and research and development.

Iago Dalmaso Brasil Dias pursued their education in the field of Aerospace Engineering, specializing in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering. Iago began their academic journey in 2011 at the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica - ITA, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering in 2015. Following this, they pursued further studies at ISAE - Formation SUPAERO in 2014 and 2015, where they obtained a degree in Aerospace Engineering (Génie Aérospatial). Iago continued their educational pursuits by enrolling in the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica - ITA once again in 2016, this time for a Master's degree in Engineering. As of now, their education history does not indicate a completion date for their Master's program. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in "Fundamentals of Reinforcement Learning" from Coursera in February 2022.
