Joachim Buyse is an experienced professional in security and anti-fraud, currently serving as Team Lead Security & Anti-Fraud and Security Architect at Isabel Group since May 2017. Previously, Joachim worked at Smals from September 2012 to May 2017 as an Application Security Consultant, specializing in code reviews, penetration testing, and domain expertise in OWASP top 10, PKI, x509, and ISO2700x. In addition, Joachim held the position of Functional Analyst as an Extreme Blue Intern at IBM for a brief period in 2011, focusing on improving patient recruitment for clinical trials. Early roles include childcare monitor at OCMW Denderleeuw and an administrative student job at Dexia. Joachim holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering with a Minor in Bio Systems and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, both from Ghent University.
