Isabel Hospice
Sophie Cowan (nee Gerty) currently serves as a Governor at The Nobel School and has held the position of General Secretary to the Resource Steering Committee at MBDA since May 2021, where responsibilities include leading recruitment and retention strategies. With a strong background in recruitment, Cowan previously worked as a Senior Recruitment Advisor at MBDA, managing UK resourcing activities across multiple domains. Additionally, Cowan has contributed as a Freedom to Speak Up Guardian at Isabel Hospice since December 2005, promoting patient safety and positive communication within the organization. We provide free specialist care to adults, families and carers that are living with life-limiting illnesses. Our vision is Outstanding Palliative Care for All and we are only able to achieve this through the continued support of our inredible community.
