Anthony Destro

Anthony Destro has a diverse work experience starting from 2005 to the present. Anthony has worked as a Principal Software Engineer at ISACA since April 2022. In this role, they have served as a mentor and technical lead for a team of 4-5 software engineers, facilitated collaboration between teams, and conducted agile ceremonies. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at ISACA from February 2017 to April 2022, where they designed data migration strategies, pioneered the architecture of Microservices, and modernized legacy applications.

Before joining ISACA, Anthony co-owned Destro Machines LLC from September 2015 to November 2016, where they led a team in creating a .Net C# react redux application. Anthony also worked as a Software Engineer at Level Agency from September 2015 to November 2016, maintaining and optimizing in-house .Net C# MVC applications.

Additionally, Anthony has experience as a System Analyst III at Pittsburgh Post-Gazette from May 2013 to May 2015, where they revamped circulation reporting software and developed solutions for seamless photo transfer. Anthony was a Development Team Lead at THIS IS RED from April 2011 to March 2013. In this role, they crafted applications for touch panels, client websites, and mobile platforms.

Furthermore, Anthony worked as a Development Team Lead at sunKING Digital from October 2007 to April 2011, developing websites using various technologies. Anthony also had a short stint as a Developer at Perficient Digital in August 2007.

Before that, Anthony worked as a Software Engineer at PGi from August 2006 to April 2007. Anthony also worked as a Developer at Quest Fore from April 2006 to August 2006, developing training websites utilizing streaming video.

Anthony's earliest experience was as a Developer at fivestar* from December 2005 to March 2006.

From 2000 to 2004, Anthony Destro attended Duquesne University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a focus on Multimedia Technology.
