Sue Rusher

Sue Rusher, CISA, CRISC, CIA, CFE, CISSP, has extensive experience in information systems audit and risk management. Currently serving in an IS Audit role at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina since September 2006, Sue conducts audits of operating systems and applications for the organization and its subsidiaries. Additionally, Sue contributes to the SC Midlands Chapter of ISACA as Program Director, developing educational curricula for training sessions, and as a member of the Student and Academic Subcommittee, promoting ISACA's mission to local university students. Previously, Sue served as a volunteer Past-President for the Columbia, SC Chapter of ISACA International, dedicated to professional development in IT and IT Audit. Prior experience includes conducting IT audits at the Office of Inspector General from December 2001 to September 2006, focusing on operational irregularities. Sue holds a Master's degree in Information Systems Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Emporia State University.
