Can Araz has extensive experience in the field of propulsion engineering. Can began their career at Mercedes-Benz Türk A.Ş. in 2014, where they completed an internship. In 2015, they worked as a working student at the Technical University Munich in both the Institute of Machine Elements and the Associate Professorship of Thermo-Fluid Dynamics.
In 2017, Can took on multiple roles at different organizations. Can worked as a working student at the Technical University Munich's Chair of Turbomachinery and Flight Propulsion. Can also participated in the NASA & DLR Design Challenge at DLR. Additionally, they completed an internship and a Master's thesis at ArianeGroup.
Since 2018, Can has been employed at Isar Aerospace. Can started as a Propulsion Engineer before being promoted to Head of Turbomachinery in 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Propulsion.

Can Araz started their education at Deutsche Schule Istanbul in 2007 and completed their Abitur with a focus on Science and Mathematics in 2012. Following this, they attended the Technical University of Munich from 2012 to 2015, where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Can then continued their studies at the same institution from 2015 to 2018, earning a Master of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering.
