Kym Burgemeister

Kym Burgemeister is an accomplished acoustic engineer and Arup Fellow with extensive experience at Arup since July 1996, where Kym has held various leadership roles, including Principal and Associate Principal, focusing on technical excellence and team development in the Acoustics, AV & Theatre Consultancy team across Australia and Singapore. Kym has also contributed as an Environmental Auditor for Wind Energy Facilities at the Environment Protection Authority Victoria and serves as a Sessional Member for Planning Panels Victoria, specializing in acoustics, noise, and vibration. In addition, Kym provides technical advice on noise and vibration for the Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia and has a strong academic background with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering (Acoustics) from the University of Adelaide.
