Tom Buechel

Tom Buechel is an accomplished entrepreneur with extensive experience in the recycling and real estate industries. As the owner of Rockaway Recycling since 2007, a family-owned scrap metal yard established in 1977, Tom has upheld the company's core values while also leading efforts in decommissioning coal and natural gas power plants. In addition to Rockaway Recycling, Tom owns iScrap App, Inc., which connects scrappers with local scrap yards, RRCats.com for recycling catalytic converters, and Rockaway National, which extends Rockaway Recycling’s model across the United States. Tom also invests in industrial and commercial real estate through KTB Realty Inc. Tom earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Connecticut in 2007.
