Chaiyong Koaykul

Chaiyong Koaykul is currently working as the Co-Chair of ISCT Asia Regional ESP Subcommittee at ISCT and as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University. Prior to these roles, Chaiyong was a Supervisor at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, focusing on the Excellence Center for Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products. Chaiyong has a background in research, with a specialization in the development of culture techniques for expansion of human mesenchymal stem cells in the biomedical industry. Chaiyong has also been involved in various international exchanges and has experience as a Teaching Assistant and Junior Research Associate. Chaiyong holds a PhD in Biotechnology from Osaka University, as well as degrees in Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Engineering.
