Luz Stella Morales

Luz Stella Morales has worked in the Information Technology field for over 20 years. Luz Stella began their career in 1998 at Universidad Industrial de Santander as a Profesional División de Servicios de Información, where they were responsible for planning, developing, launching, and managing services for the internal website. Luz Stella also trained final users and coached students about Information System Technologies. In 2001, they joined ISF de Colombia as a Client Program Manager, Quality Assurance Coordinator, and Software Engineering Team Lead. In their roles, they were responsible for defining and implementing a business strategy to work overseas, project management of software development projects, office management, delegating work to other project managers and team leaders, generating analytic data and reports for the owners and clients, team leader of processing leader’s, and internal auditor. In 2013, they joined Information Systems of Florida, Inc. (ISF) as a Project Manager / Senior Software Engineer Team Lead. In this role, they were responsible for management development, implementation, training, and monitoring projects of three program areas for a Florida State Agency. Luz Stella also led and coached IT specialists using agile development and program management methodologies, and aligned goals with executives on scheduling, resource management, and analytic metrics.

Luz Stella Morales obtained a Bachelor of Technology - BTech in Computer Science from the Universidad Industrial de Santander between 1993 and 1999. Luz Stella then went on to obtain a Specialist of Information System Management from the Universidad del Norte between 2007 and 2008. In 2013, Morales obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI. Luz Stella also holds certifications in .NET and SQL Server from Microsoft.
