Alfredo Pena

Alfredo Pena, CISSP, PMP, has over 17 years of experience in information security and project management. Currently, they serve as the Director of Information Security at ISG. Prior to their current role, Alfredo worked as the Global Cyber Security Manager at Nielsen, where they developed and implemented a strategic global cyber security risk management program and managed a team. Alfredo also worked as a Cyber Security Consultant at TEKsystems, where they evaluated, designed, and integrated security solutions and conducted penetration testing. Additionally, Alfredo served as an Information Security Project Manager at Jacobs Technology, where they managed a team of project managers and coordinated the implementation of multiple cyber security projects. Alfredo also has experience as the Director of Information Systems at COmputing TechnologieS, Inc., where they managed IT server operations and designed solutions for data center technologies. Earlier in their career, Alfredo worked as a Network Administrator at SRA International, where they troubleshooted various network issues and managed server administration.

Alfredo Pena, CISSP, PMP, holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez. Alfredo also obtained additional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) in 2011 and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2010. Furthermore, they hold certifications in Implementing an Information Security Program and Implementing the NIST Risk Management Framework from LinkedIn, as well as Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional (MCITP) from Microsoft in 2008. Alfredo has also obtained ITIL Foundations v3 certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
