Bruce Guptill has extensive work experience in the research and advisory services industry. Bruce is currently working as the Chief Strategist at Addressable Markets since April 2019. Previously, from September 2019, Bruce worked as the Lead Analyst at ISG (Information Services Group) where they established and improved research studies on various topics including procurement, cybersecurity, partner programs, and public sector. In the same year, they also worked as a Contributing Analyst at The Analyst Syndicate, a platform for technology and business analysts to publish their research.

Before these roles, Bruce held several positions at ISG, including Global Research Operations Lead and Executive Director & Principal Analyst at ISG Insights, where they optimized research operations procedures, improved communications and resource availability, and directed the enterprise-facing subscription research organization.

Prior to ISG, Bruce was the SVP and Head of Research at Saugatuck Technology, where they developed and directed research, analysis, and consulting services for business IT provider messaging, positioning, and channel strategy. Bruce also has experience as a VP & Principal Analyst at Robert Frances Group, focusing on partner relationship optimization.

Bruce's earlier career includes roles such as VP Marketing at Tallan Inc./CMGI Solutions, where they oversaw marketing strategy and programs, and VP and Research Director at Gartner Group, where they created, supported, marketed, and managed research services. Bruce began their career as a Senior Research Analyst at New Science Associates, Inc. and Senior Consultant at TeleChoice, Inc., managing various research, consulting, and editorial projects for telecom companies.

Throughout their career, Bruce has demonstrated expertise in research, analysis, and strategic planning in the technology industry.

Bruce Guptill earned a BA in Mass media psychology and Business from the University of Connecticut in 1981. Bruce later obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Marketing & Finance from Framingham State University between 1989 and 1991.
