Nishant Katyal

Nishant Katyal is a Senior Design Engineer at Isgec Heavy Engineering Ltd. since July 2018, specializing in the design and development of mechanical and hydraulic press machines using Solidworks, Inventor, and AUTOCAD. Previous experience includes a role as a Senior Contract Engineer at Microns India, focusing on the design and stress analysis of precision machined components. As a Research and Development Engineer at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Nishant contributed to the redesign of a four ball tribometer and conducted tests on novel Graphene formulations. Early positions involved research on biodegradable oils and structural testing of aerostructures at Aeronautical Development Establishment. Nishant holds a Master of Science in Engineering Design with a specialization in Machine Design from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology.
