Steve Jones

Steve Jones has a diverse work experience consisting of various roles in different companies. Steve started their career as an Electronic Technician Apprentice at Autonumis Limited in 1980. Steve then worked as an Electronics Technician at Ashcroft Electronics Limited from 1984 to 1986. After that, they joined Renishaw in 1986 as an Electronics Technician, rising to Senior Test Engineer until 1994.

In 1994, Steve moved to Voltech Instruments Ltd as a Production Manager for a few months before returning to Renishaw as a Principle Design Engineer and later a Product Manager from 1994 to 2008. Steve then joined Ishida Europe Ltd in 2008, initially as a Senior Product Manager, then as the General Manager of Product Management & Product Marketing until 2013. From 2013, they assumed the role of Marketing Director at Ishida Europe Ltd.

Overall, Steve has extensive experience in electronics, product management, and marketing, acquired through their various roles in different companies.

Steve Jones received a Certificate and Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors (IoD) in 2014-2015. Prior to that, they obtained an Advanced Certificate and Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing from 2000-2003. Steve also holds a BEng (Hons) 1st Class degree in Electronic Engineering, which they earned from the University of the West of England in 1988-1993. In addition, they completed their ONC and HNC Electronics Engineering at Swindon College in 1980-1984.
