Kasper Bjering Søby Jensen

Kasper Bjering Søby Jensen currently serves as a Lektor in Mathematics and fagkoordinator at Roskilde Katedralskole since October 2012 and as a Byrådsmedlem and udvalgsformand for Børn og Undervisning with Ishøj Kommune since January 2014, affiliated with Socialdemokratiet. Kasper has been a Bestyrelsesmedlem at Vestegnen HF & VUC since May 2022 and a member of the Gymnasieekspertgruppen at the Nationalt Center for Udvikling af Matematikundervisning from August 2020 to December 2024. Previous experiences include involvement in the Matematikkommissionen for the Undervisningsministeriet and completing a PhD in Matematikkens Didaktik at Roskilde University, where studies were focused on gymnasial mathematics education.
