Kalyan Seshu

Kalyan Seshu has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Kalyan is currently working as the Founding Head of Solutions at Isima.io since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Engineering at Isima.io from June 2018 to January 2022, where they were responsible for building and supporting the next generation data platform and ensuring customer success and satisfaction.

Before joining Isima.io, Kalyan was a Principal Architect at Hopscotch from January 2017 to May 2018. Kalyan worked as a Senior Director of Engineering at Canvera Digital Technologies from June 2014 to December 2016. From July 2012 to October 2013, they held the position of Vice President Engineering at New Age E Commerce Services Pvt Ltd (bluestone.com).

Kalyan has also held various leadership roles in their career. Kalyan founded Victual Systems in June 2011 and served as its Founder until July 2012. Kalyan was the Vice President of Development at Apigee Technologies (formerly Sonoa Systems) from April 2010 to January 2011. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Engineering and Development Manager at Apigee Technologies from March 2009 to April 2010 and May 2005 to February 2009, respectively.

Before joining Apigee Technologies, Kalyan worked as a Technical Manager/Architect at Integral Development Corporation from February 2003 to April 2005. Kalyan started their career as an Architect at Pramati Technologies in May 2000 and worked there until January 2003. Kalyan also has experience as a Project Lead at Citicorp Overseas Private Ltd from February 1999 to May 2000.

Overall, Kalyan Seshu has a strong background in engineering and leadership roles, with experience in building data platforms, architecting solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Kalyan Seshu completed their Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from BIT Mesra Student-Industry Relations Cell between 1990 and 1993. Kalyan also pursued several additional certifications, including EPAT from QuantInsti Quantitative Learning Pvt Ltd in February 2018. In September 2015, they obtained an edX Honor Code Certificate for The Analytics Edge and in July 2015, they obtained an edX Honor Code Certificate for Introduction to Big Data with Apache Spark. Kalyan also has certifications in R Programming, The Data Scientist's Toolbox, and Computing for Data Analysis, all obtained in 2014 through Coursera.
