Yasser Omar is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in software testing and electrical systems. Currently serving as Team Lead Testing Engineer at Iskraemeco since March 2021, Yasser oversees the testing of software and firmware for various prepaid and smart electricity and water meters, as well as the end-to-end solution. Prior to this, Yasser held the position of Senior Software Testing Engineer at Iskraemeco and worked at Middle Egypt for Electricity Distribution Company (MEEDCO) from October 2011 to February 2021, where responsibilities included the installation and operation of 30,000 smart electricity meters and the management of prepayment and smart meter systems. Yasser also has experience as a Protection Engineer, focusing on the installation and maintenance of electrical system components. Yasser holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, Menoufia University, obtained in 2011.
