Nabile Safdar

Nabile Safdar currently serves as the Interim Chief AI Officer and Associate Chief Health Informatics Officer at Emory Healthcare, with a tenure beginning in 2017. At Emory University School of Medicine, Nabile Safdar holds the position of Endowed Professor and Vice Chair of Informatics in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences since 2014, while also serving as an Associate Professor. Nabile Safdar is actively involved in various organizations, including membership on the Board of Directors for the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine, Roswell Community Masjid Inc, and the Islamic Medical Association of North America. Previously, Nabile Safdar was the Director of Imaging Informatics and Musculoskeletal Imaging at Children's National Medical Center and served as an Assistant Professor in Radiology at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Nabile Safdar’s educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from Thomas Jefferson University, a Master of Public Health from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and a Bachelor of Science from Penn State University.
