Rashid Mehmood

Rashid Mehmood currently serves as the Head of Finance and Governance at Islamic Relief Worldwide, a position held since February 2023, where responsibilities include developing finance strategies and managing cash flow for financial stability. Prior to this role, Rashid Mehmood worked with Islamic Relief Pakistan from January 2011 to February 2023 as Finance Manager, leading a finance department of 30 to 35 members, overseeing grants management, financial planning, audit compliance, and team capacity building. Additional roles included Finance Coordinator focused on grants and compliance, as well as projects finance lead and finance lead positions in previous organizations. Rashid Mehmood holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Federal Urdu University, complemented by a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Punjab.
