Paul S. Hammer, MD, is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in psychiatry and behavioral health. Currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer at Rainfall Health and as the Medical Director of Island Psychiatry & Behavioral Health at Island Hospital, Paul has a diverse background that includes a private practice and consulting role from November 2017 to October 2021. Prior military experience includes positions as Assistant Inspector General for Medical Matters in the US Navy and Commanding Officer at the Navy Medicine Information Systems Support Activity. Paul's leadership in mental health initiatives is further exemplified by roles such as Director at the Defense Centers of Excellence for Psych Health and Traumatic Brain Injury and the Naval Center for Combat & Operational Stress Control. Paul holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Uniformed Services University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of San Francisco.
