Andrew M.

Andrew M. is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in emergency medicine and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Executive Medical Director and Regional Medical Director at British Columbia Ambulance Service since December 2020, Andrew also holds the position of Medical Director at the Canadian Red Cross since April 2005. In addition to their clinical and administrative roles, Andrew is a Clinical Professor at The University of British Columbia and has been involved with WorkSafeBC and the Canadian Coast Guard as a Medical Consultant. Andrew's contributions to emergency medicine are further exemplified through leadership positions at Vancouver Island Health Authority, including Emergency Physician & Trauma Team Leader, and serving as Chief of Emergency Medicine. Andrew's academic background includes a Doctor of Medicine from The University of British Columbia and a CCFP-EM degree from the University of Alberta, along with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Victoria.
