Dustin Lahaise has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Dustin started their career as a Critical Care RN at Island Health - Vancouver Island Health Authority in 2009. Dustin then took on the role of Trauma Services Coordinator in 2014. In the same year, they also became an ACLS/BLS Instructor at the Heart and Stroke Foundation. In 2016, they joined Advanced Trauma Life Support BC as a Provincial Coordinator until 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Flight Nurse at LIFESUPPORT Patient Transport from 2010 to 2013. Currently, they hold the position of Clinical Nurse Lead at Island Health - Vancouver Island Health Authority.

Dustin Lahaise has a diverse education history. In 2003, they completed a Certificate in Automobile/Automotive Mechanics Technology/Technician at Vancouver Island University. Dustin then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Vancouver Island University from 2003 to 2007. In 2009, Dustin pursued further education in Critical Care Nursing at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Finally, in 2015, they obtained a Certificate in Medical Simulation from UC Irvine.
