Emily Macdonald has extensive experience in health care management and project management, currently serving as Manager of Primary Care at Island Health since June 2014. Previous roles at Island Health include Project Manager for Surgical Services and Community Health and Care, as well as Manager of the Regional Support Program. Prior to joining Island Health, Emily worked as a Physiotherapist with the Department of National Defence from June 2003 to February 2014. Academically, Emily holds a Master of Health Administration from The University of British Columbia and multiple degrees from Queen's University, including a Bachelor of Science (Honours), a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education, and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Western University.
