Melody Haislip

Melody Haislip is a highly experienced professional in the hospitality industry, currently serving as Vice President of National Sales and previously as Regional Director of Sales and Marketing at Island Hospitality Management since May 2008. With a solid background in managing upscale extended stay and full-service hotels under major brands, Melody has contributed to improving the bottom line of properties through stringent P&L controls. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Sales and Marketing at Sheraton Raleigh Hotel from September 1998 to May 2008. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics from North Carolina State University, French Language Studies at L'Universite de Paris-La Sorbonne, and an Associate of Arts in Music from Peace College.
