Melissa Olson is an experienced art educator and creative professional with a diverse background in teaching, community engagement, and photography. Currently serving as an Art Teacher for the Polk County School Board and an Art Instructor at the Art Center of Rochester since October 2019, Melissa also works as an Event Photographer for Island Photography and as a Cultural Arts Instructor for the Boys and Girls Club of Tampa Bay. Previous experience includes a role in Community Relations at Barnes & Noble from 2006 to 2010. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Painting from the University of South Florida and two Associate of Arts degrees from Polk State College and Full Sail University, with a focus on Liberal Arts and Computer Animation.
