Patrick Kiely

CEO at SENTRY

Patrick Kiely began their work experience in 2010 as a VP of Research and Development at Cambrian Innovation. Patrick then went on to become a reviewer for Environmental Science and Technology and Bioresource Technology. In 2013, they founded Clear Pod Inc., a company focused on improving septic system performance. That same year, they also became the CEO and Co-Founder of Island Water Technologies, a wastewater treatment company. In 2018, they joined the Clean Tech Advisory Council as a member and became the CEO of SENTRY, which specializes in real-time monitoring of microbial activity in water. In 2020, they joined Imagine H2O as a Technical Expert.

Patrick Kiely completed their education in a systematic manner, with a focus on microbiology. Starting in 1999, they attended University College Cork for their PhD in Microbiology, which they completed in 2008. After that, they pursued a Post Doctoral degree from 2008 to 2010 at Penn State University, specializing in Microbiology and Environmental Engineering.
