Jason Trunk

Jason Trunk is an experienced technology executive currently serving as VP & Field CTO at Island since August 2021. Previously, Jason held the position of Worldwide Lead for Observability at Amazon Web Services from January 2020 to August 2021, where responsibility included managing the portfolio for monitoring, telemetry, and AIOps. Prior roles encompass VP of Field Strategy at BigPanda, Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase & Co., Field CTO at AppDynamics, and Principal Technologist & Evangelist at Quest Software. Jason has also contributed significantly as a technical pre-sales leader at Mercury Interactive and Integrated Concepts, and has served as a senior technology consultant at Coopers & Lybrand, LLP. Educational qualifications include a degree from the University of North Texas.
