Josh Smith has over 12 years of experience in the technology industry. Josh began their career in 2009 as an Analyst at Meritus Ventures, L.P. In 2008, they moved to GRIDSMART Technologies, Inc. as a Market Analyst. In 2010, they joined SFCG as an Investment Banking Analyst. In 2012, they joined McAfee as an M&A Finance. In 2015, they joined Blue Coat Systems (which was later acquired by Symantec) as a Corporate Development Lead. In 2016, they joined Symantec as a Senior Director, Business Development and Chief of Staff, Office of President & COO. In 2020, they joined Armis as a Senior Director, Strategic Alliances & Global Channel Operations. Most recently, in 2021 they joined Island as the Head of Alliances & Operations.

Josh Smith obtained their Bachelors of Science in Marketing and International Business from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee in 2009. Josh then continued their education at the same institution and obtained their MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship in 2010.
