Mary Dombrowski is an experienced education and naturalist professional with a strong background in environmental education and conservation. Currently serving as the School Overnight Program Manager at IslandWood since September 2022, Mary has previously held positions as Principal Naturalist at the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, Education Coordinator at the Accokeek Foundation, Outdoor Science Instructor at Driftwood Education Center, and Naturalist at the Audubon Center of the North Woods. Mary Dombrowski holds a Graduate Certificate in Environmental Education from Hamline University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Conservation Biology and Sustainability from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
