Jean Young began their career in 1978 as Senior Vice President at John Adams Associates, where they managed programs for a number of associations and non-profits and conducted an PRSA Silver Award-winning media program for the Environmental Industry Council. In 1982, they founded Young & Associates where they provided marketing and media expertise to technology-focused companies worldwide, including flagship client France Telecom. In 2010, Jean sold Young & Associates to two principals of the company and established Jean Young Communications. Jean then began full time consulting for former client ISM Inc. as Vice President from 2011 to 2015.
Jean Young received their Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Florida between 1956 and 1960. Jean then went on to earn their Master of Science in Journalism from the University of California, Los Angeles between 1960 and 1962.
