Lorenzo Volpe

Lorenzo Volpe serves as the Laboratory Operations Manager and Data Scientist at ISMETT since May 2022. Prior experience includes roles at Zoetis Inc. from January 2018 to August 2022 as a Process Engineering Specialist and Associate Fermentation Technologist, as well as a position at Abiel from May 2013 to December 2017 as a Fermentation and Downstream Purification Scientist. Lorenzo Volpe holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biotechnology from Università degli Studi di Palermo and is a PhD student in Molecular Medicine and Biotechnology at the University of Palermo, where a Master’s degree in Biotechnology for Industrial and Scientific Research was also earned.
