Rosalia Busà

Rosalia Busà is an experienced Immunology Research Scientist currently employed at ISMETT since February 2020, specializing in transplant immunology and immunotherapy, including the generation of regulatory dendritic cells for transplantation tolerance and CAR-NK cell engineering for hepatocellular carcinoma. Prior to this role, Rosalia served as a visiting research scientist at UPMC, focusing on the in vitro generation of regulatory dendritic cells from living donor liver transplants, and held multiple academic positions, including as a PhD student at the Università degli studi di Palermo.
