Michael Novinson

Michael Novinson is the Managing Editor for Business at Information Security Media Group (ISMG) since April 2022, specializing in the cybersecurity vendor landscape, including mergers, acquisitions, and emerging trends relevant for Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs). Prior to ISMG, Michael held various editorial positions at The Channel Company, from Associate Editor to Senior Editor, where recognition was received from the American Society of Business Publication Editors and the Software & Information Industry Association for coverage of significant cybersecurity events. Michael began a journalism career at the Times Herald-Record, reporting on local governance and community issues, and has also contributed to several other publications, including Worcester Business Journal and Scripps Howard Foundation Wire. Michael holds a BA in Political Science and Educational Studies from Haverford College, and has additional educational experience from The American University in Cairo.
