Tim Collinson currently serves as Senior Director of Global Medical & Scientific Communications and previously held the position of Director of Global Publications at Santen since July 2021. Additionally, Tim is a Course Instructor for the Medical Writing Certificate Program at UC San Diego and an Advisory Board Member for the Medical Writing Professional Certificate, both roles initiated in January and November 2023 respectively. Tim's involvement with ISMPP since 2013 includes various committee roles, including the current position on the Small Companies & New Professionals Outreach Committee and previous terms as Certification Board Director. With a substantial background in medical communications, Tim held significant roles at Fishawack Group of Companies (2008-2021), Complete Medical Communications (2002-2008), AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, and other companies, showcasing expertise in editorial management and business operations. Tim holds a BSc in Physiology/Pharmacology with Health Studies from the University of Lancashire and completed a placement at Justus Liebig University Giessen.
