Khalid Hussain.

Khalid Hussain has over 17 years of work experience, with a strong focus on data engineering and business intelligence. Khalid is currently working as a Lead Data Engineer at ISN, where they are responsible for designing and implementing data solutions. Prior to this, they held roles such as Lead SQL Engineer and Senior SQL Engineer at ISN, where they displayed their expertise in SQL development and data analysis.

Before joining ISN, Khalid worked as a Senior Data Warehouse Developer at One Technologies, LP, where they specialized in big data analysis and Amazon Redshift data warehouse design. Khalid also designed and developed ETL tools for data transfer and processing between SQL Server and Amazon Redshift databases.

Khalid gained a vast amount of experience as a Business Intelligence Specialist Consultant at Gibson Energy, where they played a key role in data warehouse architecture, design, and development using SSIS, SSAS, and performance point. Khalid also utilized Ralph Kimball design approach for reporting and analytical capabilities.

Khalid also served as a Business Intelligence Specialist at Oxford Global Resources, where they further enhanced their expertise in BI solutions. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior DBA/Infrastructure Management Principal at ACS, a Xerox Company, where they carried out database administration and infrastructure management responsibilities.

Khalid's career journey also includes roles as Treasurer/Director at Baitulmaal and Senior Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse Specialist Consultant at Targetbase. Khalid has also held positions at ACS and PDS, where they played various roles in program management, data architecture, and consulting.

Throughout their career, Khalid has demonstrated a strong technical skill set in SQL, ETL, data warehousing, and data analysis. Khalid has consistently delivered innovative solutions and played a key role in enhancing data-driven decision-making processes for organizations.

Khalid Hussain holds an MBA degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix, which they obtained from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, they have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Madras, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. Prior to their higher education, Khalid attended JBAS Boys School.

In terms of certifications, Khalid has obtained several additional qualifications. In July 2022, they achieved the Azure Data Engineer Associate Certification from Microsoft. In September 2021, they received the edX Verified Certificate for Network Security - Protocols. Khalid also holds the Azure Fundamentals Microsoft Certification, which they acquired in April 2021. In October 2020, they completed three certifications, namely: Building Resilience from LinkedIn, Cultivating Mental Agility from LinkedIn, and How to Be an Adaptable Employee during Change and Uncertainty from LinkedIn. Furthermore, Khalid obtained the IBM DS0720EN: Data Science and Machine Learning Capstone Project certification offered by IBM in March 2020.
