Christie Patel

Christie Patel is currently serving as the Science Operations Manager at Isometric, a carbon removal registry, where responsibilities include product management of digital MRV systems, standardizing measurement, reporting, and verification frameworks, creating life-cycle analysis frameworks for quantifying carbon removal, and coordinating the strategy and operations of Isometric's Science Network. Prior experience includes a brief position as a Jumpstart Candidate in early 2023 and a Research Scholar role at the Carnegie Institution for Science, contributing to a significant genetic engineering experiment on Arabidopsis thaliana focused on drought resistance, which involved automating the design of guide RNAs using R and Python. Christie Patel holds a Natural Sciences BA from the University of Cambridge and attended St Clement Danes School prior to that.
