Eric Talbot

Eric Talbot is an accomplished chemist with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Head of Synthetic Drug Design at Isomorphic Labs since January 2023. Prior roles include Director of Chemistry and Principal Scientist (Drug Discovery) at Pharmaron from November 2017 to January 2023, and Chemistry Scientific Officer - Associate Fellow at GSK from November 2013 to October 2017. Eric Talbot began their career with an industrial placement at GlaxoSmithKline in 2006, focusing on organic synthesis for drug candidates. Academic qualifications include a Postgraduate Degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, a Ph.D. from the University of Oxford, a master's degree in molecular chemistry from École Polytechnique, and a master’s degree in chemistry and chemical engineering from Ecole supérieure de Chimie organique et minérale.
