Dominik Hattensauer

Dominik Hattensauer is a Product Owner at ison GmbH since May 2023, focusing on helping households reduce CO2 footprints and increase energy self-sufficiency. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Consultant in Data-driven Energy & Utilities at Capgemini Invent from November 2020 to April 2023, and conducting a Master Thesis at Stadtwerke Norderstedt, where a home energy management system was developed, resulting in a nomination for the Hamburg VDI Prize. Additionally, Dominik has experience in Asset Management at Blue Elephant Energy AG, with a strong background in managing solar and wind farm projects and conducting cost analyses. Early career experience includes a role as a Productspecialist at Apple. Educational qualifications consist of multiple Master's degrees in Industrial Engineering and Management from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, Helmut-Schmidt-Universität, and the University of Hamburg, as well as a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the University of Hamburg. Dominik also holds a High School Diploma from New Ulm Senior High School.
