Karen Taylor

Karen Taylor has extensive experience in the field of education, currently serving as the Lead Instructor of Developmental Reading and English and Director of the Writing Center at Isothermal Community College since January 2011. Additionally, Karen Taylor has been a Freshman Composition instructor at Gardner-Webb University since August 2014, and previously taught high school English and dual enrollment classes at Lake Lure Classical Academy from August 2018 to December 2021. Prior to these roles, Karen Taylor also held an adjunct instructor position at Blue Ridge Community College in March 2017. Karen Taylor holds a Master of Arts in English with a writing concentration and a Bachelor's degree in English, both earned from Gardner-Webb University.
