Katie Anders

Katie Anders is an accomplished Information Technology and Cybersecurity Instructor at Isothermal Community College since June 2023, where responsibilities include developing a comprehensive cybersecurity program and pursuing the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity designation. Prior experience includes serving as an Instructional Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, aiding in the teaching of critical thinking and communication, and working as a Front-End Development and UX/UI Designer Intern at Coreware. Katie's professional background also features a Data Center Support Technician role at Milestone Technologies, Inc. Katie holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Secure Software Development and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a focus on Cybersecurity, both from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, alongside an Associate of Science degree from Isothermal Community College and being a Summa Cum Laude graduate from Rutherford Early College High School.
